Title: wider rears?

am planning to go with the following tire combinations with my 16" 6.5 width rims:

     tsl boggers front 35x10.50-16LT, rear 35x14.50-16LT

                                            or

     tsl narrow ss front 9/34-16LT, rear Super swamper 13/33-16LT.

has anyone tried a narrow front/wider rear combi? this way i think i can get a greater traction rear while having a lesser strain up front.
