Title: help Axle question? FIGURED IT OUT

i just changed the front driver side axle, pulled the axle pin. everything was alright i noticed there was a ring lying on the ground. i don't know where it came from. i tryed fitting back but there wasen't enough room for the ring and the pin? will it be okay with out that ring? cus really i don't know where its suppost to go.

Front axle?
Ring goes on the end of the axle shaft,
it's what keeps the axle from coming out,
so no, it will not be allright without it.

ya front axle. thing is i tryed puting it before the pin and theres no room??

 everything worked out, i just don't know what happend why it wouldnt fit earlyer?

Sometimes the axle slips out a little and doesn't seat right, that was probably the problem.

that exactly what happend. sometimes you gotta force things to go rite. :P
