i have not seen them up close,  but you can definetly make them cheaper. it is almost always cheaper to build oyur own stuff.

That doesn't mean that the quality will be the same though.  :)

Yes you can make them cheaper your self, but it's the enjoyment of doing it your self that I build things for.

I have some on my 4-door kick and i know i couldn't have built them as well.  He makes good use of his laser cutter for the brackets.

You could make basic sliders cheap, but these are very effective and easier...  Less than $300 i think i paid.

suzukiboyoz - That is a clean design.  :)  Is there a reason you didn't drill through the frame?

We are not allowed to drill or weld to the frame here in Queensland, Australia.

I also don't think it's necessary for them to be drilled or welded to the frame.  With a good bracket design, like the one above, or others people make, the things don't want to move anywhere, and you won't stress the frame with the heat of welding.

Can any of the commercially available in the US rocker guards function as a "nerf bar" step?  The wife's a bit short and the Tracker isn't.  It's kinda fun to watch her get into it. ;)
