Title: Full aftermarket stereo help (stereo newbie)
Post by: 1bigtracker on June 10, 2006, 11:16:26 AM
I have a few goodies i scored for my 4 door kick from a friend for free, starting with

The info on(or inside of the cover) is Programmable High-Performance 2-Way Crossover Network           (inside cover) JL Audio XR650/ 570-CSpxo      and i have the two 6in speakers but couldn't find any tweeters.

and i got these 3 3/4in X 1 5/8in oval black thingys off the A pillar that have a Rockford Fosgate logo on the front of them.  I have no idea what they are and can't find any pics in the net.

This is just the start to the stereo buildup too.  I have a few old amps in the back room and some subs and boxes but that will be for later on.  but keep in mind that all i know is that you hook up the two matching color wires from the head unit to the factory speakers so I AM A STEREO NEWBIE!  any one know some good web sites to look though to help me wire it all up right?

Thanks,  Stu

The JL XR component sets are IMO, THE BEST speakers ever made. Even their coax speakers sound amazing.

Here's a site:

I used to install mobile electronics for a living, if you have any questions, just PM me.
