Hey,
I really don't know what year of bronco they came off of. They were $40 for 5.  I had to take almost a 1/4" of the centers out to make them fit over my hub.

The sliders are made with one 90* bracket and some steel tubing I had in my back yard.  It was all free ;D  I will take some more pictures of the sliders and mounting tomrrow if some people want to see them?? ???

I really like the bedliner.  It is a little thin in the back but I think the front will be good, time will tell.

Soon will have 31's and a 3" suspension lift and gas tank lift.

looks good!  will be doing that to me '91 tracker beore the winter road salt starts here in northern Minnesota.  what bedliner did you use?  spray or brush/roller?
i was going to first use the spray (Duplicolor brand) in all the spaces behind the inner door and rear panels.  then use the roll on (Rustoleum Warrior brand) for the floors, inner firewall, and the door and rear panels before reinstalling the vinyl coverings.  planning on everything getting at least 2 coats.  any opinions?   ???
thanks.

I used some spray one "rubberized rockergaurd" for the interior.  Used almost 3 cans once i was finished and that was with pretty much 3 coats all around.

Sorry, never got pics.

Went to my english exam and then came home and started my 4" gas tank lift.  will get pics of that soon aswell.

Yeah I'd like to see pics of the slider mouting points, that would be cool.
What backspacing are those rims?
I have 30x9.5 mts' with stock rims and I need less backspacing so they don't rub the frame

Ok, tonight I will take pictures or the floor without the mats, sliders w/ mounts and my 4" gas tank lift when it is done, if anyone is interested in that?

I don't know what back spacing they are, came off of a 85ish bronco.

It's going to have a 3" Suspension Lift, 3" Body Lift, and a 4" Gas Tank Lift.
Hoping to run 31x10.50 Mtr/s or radial TSL's without trimming.  Any other opinions on tires?  This will be my daily so need to be good on street

BTW: Thanks Digger for giving me the idea of the 2" exaust clamps.

What is all involved in the gas tank lift?
Title: Re: Bed Linered, Rock Sliders, and 4" Gas Tank Lift PICS!
Post by: TysonS on June 21, 2006, 11:17:44 AM
well, there wasn't really much to it.  First you have to have at least a 3" body lift.

All you need is two 2" exaust clamps(Thanks Digger for idea) and 4 washers,
two 2 1/2" bolts with 4 washers. Cost me $3.63 Cdn.

All you have to do is unbolt the tank and skid plate.  Lower that down as far as you can get it without pulling hoses or wires. If you have a 3" body Lift with the gas tank hose extention, take that off then.

Then get a angle grinder and grind off the 2 hangers in the front x member that held up the tank before.  Once those are gone, and everything is unbolted. Crawl under the tank and bench press it up.  The lip on the back of the tank need to go on top of that crossmember first. Then lift the the front lip till it is touching the bottem of the front crossmember.  Then I got a clamp and clamped it up there to see how it looked.

Then put the exaust clamps through the holes in the back and tightened them up(pictures) and got the tank centered intbetween the frame.  Once those were clamped tight i got a drill and drilled 2 holes in the front crossmember and put the bolts through.

Double check everything and make sure it is all tight and your good to go.

This could probably be done in 3 hours if you had all the parts and tools in hand.  Took me along time to get my bumper off so... could take less time.

Remember, I'm only 15, if I can do it everyone on this site could do it.

Did you retain the gas tank skid plate or did you ditch it.

you should try turning your subs around so they face the back. I installed my sub like that originally and the guy at the stereo shop had me put it facing back about 6 inches or so from the back door and it puts out more bass and sounds better.. try it.. it's FREE  :D
