what is the cheapest way to do this conversion?

Source that parts your self and do all the work yourself....not worth it imo.


4.3 is very heavy and if this is for a sammy a 1.6 (8/16 valve) is an easy swap, with a 2.0 you would have a alot of power and alot less engine weight which keeps you closer to stock

get a chevy with the 4.3 and leave it like that ;)
