Title: i cant decide what motor to use?

i cant decide what motor to use in my 88 samurai 4.3, 22re, 2.0, 1.6, 1.9 deisel or any others please help i need to get my truck done soon thanks

personally if I did have a choice I would have went diesel

Go Diesel, and if you live in a smog test area
you can get it exempt from future tests, now
you can put any engine in that you want, with
no routine smog checks  :)

i would go with anything Suzuki, at least 1.6l

I really like my 1.6 16v but, I would have gone diesel if the cash flow had been up to it.

for hardcore wheeling diesel is the way to go, if only for the massive down low torque provided.

fuel economy is just a bonus  ;D

Depends on what you want to do with your truck. The SHORT answer I would give you:
If you mostly use truck as daily driver, with "light" mods - go with the 1.6L. This engine. If you plan on doing extreme wheeling with BIG tires - go with a diesel (and do yourself a favor and get the ACME kit).
