Title: Wheel Clearance

 I purchased a set of black steel wheels for my 01 tracker and like a lot of people they are not clearing the calipers. Being the moron that I am, I trusted the shop I bought them from that they would fit. After taking some measurements I realize I will need at least 3/4 to 1 inch spacer to make them work.

Are there any other options besides spacers? Has anyone tried fitting a smaller caliper from say a early 90s kick?

Some have grinded the calipers down a little bit to make some extra clearence.

I have thought about that but I think I would have to take to much off.

I have never owned a Gen.1 so am unsure if changing the calipers would work. Has anyone out there done this? Does anyone know if it is even possible?
