Title: MAF Problems

Had a rough idle, bad fuel milage and a light on the dash.  Got it checked . . . MAF.

I checked Suzuki and it was $1200 new for my 97 4 door 16v.  They said that last year they managed to find a few used ones that went for $350 each.

1) Is there anything that can be "fixed" on the MAF or is it only a replacement item?
2) Does the aftermarked build one?
3) Where can I find a used one on-line?
4) What other models MAF would fit mine?
