Hi i have a Sidekick 1.6,16v.Anvil front axle with Calmini LSD (70 or 75%) and a Detroit EZ locker in the rear axle.Also 5,83:1 Richmond rings and pinions.
I used very thick oil lately and I think its not operating very good.Does anyone know what oil should I use in the differentials and in the t-case also ? synthetic maybe ? grade ?

The lsd takes a special additive.

yes I know.But can you be more specific ? at least it uses thin oil or thick one ?

The 5.83s should run synthetic 80-90. Non synthetic will be too thick when its cold and can crack the pinion teeth at HWY speeds. The LSD does not require an additive with synthetic so you kill two birds with one stone. ;) In the t case I run plain 80-90 cause I change my fluids a lot.

I have another problem the last 2 months ,I dont know if its related with the oil I use.I ll just mention the facts and if anyone has any ideas about what going on tell me about it.I think that the truck lately runs very tight.what I mean by "tight...."
When I m driving for example on the road,2 wheel drive,
in a normal downslope (5 -10 degrees),when I put Neutral,the truck wheels like its has 4th gear.i dont have to use the brakes.Furthermore yesterday after 3 hours offroading in some relatively difficult mudholes,the clutch seemed more hard to press and I had difficulties to change gears.Note that the truck passed through every obstacle with ease.The clutch is  a stock Aysin set (disk-pressure plate-bearing) and was installed 2 weeks ago.I have already changed 2 clutch sets in the last 2 months.
The wheel bearings are o.k,rear drum brakes o.k,differentials seem o.k.The tires I use are 31x10,5x15 MT ,I dont think they are a possible cause of the problem.

Like you I have the th180 in my kick and am wondering if the "drag" might be a function of the lockup converter in the tranny ???
This is my first zuk (and never had an auto in such a small displacement vehicle before), but I found the "drag" disconcerting. I will say it comes in useful as "engine breaking" coming down a steep trail :)

Anyway.problem solved.The differentials had too thick oil (valvoline 90-130) and the oil in the t-case was grey.....
We used 75-90 synthetic in the differentials and 75-90 non synthetic in the t-case.Some noise that was coming from the t-case like "hr..hr..hr.."  stopped.
the differentials seem to operate much much better,the truck seems to run with ease.Also it needed some driving with much throttle (1st-2nd-3rd gear up to the red line) and now it accelerates much faster, and runs very good.
Oh,by the way ,I executed a well modified Landy 90 yesterday that I went to test the truck after the oil changes and some other adjustments that we did...... ;D
the owner of the Landy couldnt believe that his V8 was beaten by a 1.6 Sidekick.He stuck 3 times in some deep mudholes and he didnt manage to climb on a really long (35-40 degree) slope upwards.When I came down he seemed like  :o :o >:( >:( :'(
