i bought me a hard top for my 95 2dr.
I just want to make sure The previous owner finds all the hardware.
So. if ya have this kind of top.
I'd like to see any pics of the hardware that holds it on and what not.
I Pick it up Friday after work. ;D
-
i believe it's version of the protop so down load this installation .pdf, and see if mounts the same way. if so it'll show you all the hardware you'll need.

Thanks, that gives me some Ideas of what parts to look for.
Seems like a Bigger PITA than I thought.
Hope I like it.
At lest it will make me feel more secure if I have to park it outside.
-
I have that exact hard top too.
It's nice... and easy to remove.
I'll take pictures of whatever you want.
Send me a PM. ;)

gee, thats soooo thoughtful.
NOT ;D
Here it is on it's way home in my Work truck.
It might have fit inside the 4dr but what the heck.
Nice prev owner.
Had everything for it (that I could tell) and even showed me
how to put it on.
Now the fun part.
Putting it on.
And No.
I'm not getting rid of all the soft top stff.
I'm told it's not cheap to replace it all.
-
I had a hard top but I got rid of it because I liked the soft top better. Especially the freedom of taking it off and putting it on whenever you feel like.
-
It's on. what a PITA.
Had top modify two little piecies that went around the rear corners.
But.
-
front view
I think my rear squats even more (with spare tire and hardtop)
-
I got really lucky by buying this from a nice guy that showed me how to install it and Having ALL the pieces (which is rare).
A few pics of the mounts.

Yes, I know, I lost a screw. I'll have to find another one soon.

It does sit lower in the rear now.
My guess is with the HardTop and the FullSize spare it's just too heavy. Explains why my 2dr wieghs 1,000#lbs more than my 4dr.
Guess I'll have to add a 1 3/4 spacer to the rear and take out the 3/4"inch spacer

Now it looks really stubbie ;)
-
I really like the looks of that!
nice
-
Took it for a 100mile test drive and it came back home.
No wind noise.
Didn't fall off.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. ;D
I kind've like the hard top (for now)
Tinted windows. ;D
-
Nice like trackers, kicks with hardtops so much better than softs..

I just ment it was nice by being more cooler in it.
And yes, It fits nicer than I thought it would.

maybe some small coil spacers in the back would work nice to bring it back up
