About ten years plus ago I put a lot of money into an'88 Sammy, ultimately rolling the damn thing.
Not the Sams fault. I was rounding a bend and hit an unannounced patch of highway repair.
It rolled so fast and hard that the passenger side never touched down. All the damage was to the driver's side.
It was one of those moments. No gas was leaking. The truck was laying on the drivers side. I got out and immediately ripped the Bikini top off the old girl and extracted my fiance. Never had the heart racing so fast. And in a million years I'd never be able to tear a vinyl top off a vehicle like that.
We walked two miles home, had two guys with a comea long return but the wreck to right the thing but it was already gone.
Cops picked it up.
I drove it home the next day, but nothing is sadder than driving a Samurai down the road with a broken windshield, the frame bent so much that you could barely see out of tha damn thing.
I poured a ton of money into this truck.
I sold the smashed yet driveable wreck with about 4 grand worth of parts to a guy to use as a hunting camp ride for 500 bucks. Makes your heart sink.
And you bastards with the help of ebay have put the bug back in me.
Thanks for nothing!
I geuss this is my way of saying hello. I'm known on the internet, but this is my first time posting here. Flame away!

Sorry to hear about your Sammie.
Glad your getting back into it.
My Kick started as a Stocker.
Damn. Too much $ invested.
But Damn, Is it a blast to drive. ;D
now I have two.
Too bad, it could've been a Sammie if the guy wasn't
such an A-Hole (car Dealer)
But I'm Happy with the Kicks. ;D

I can't understand why you sold the Sammi, you could have bought a junker and moved over the goddies. Anyway, It's good that you're back.

Apparently not! I'm back where I was ten years ago, except now you have ebay and online catalogs instead of the hardcopy of Calmini!
