Title: What do you pay for starters?
Post by: keith on July 18, 2006, 08:03:38 PM
2 years ago I bought a starter for my Tracker from a guy that sold them on e-bay for $52 shipped.  He hasn't responded to my e-mail in 2 days so I'm not sure he is still selling them.  So where can I find a cheap reman starter?  Does Hawk sell them?

I have a local salvage yard that sells used ones with a 30 day warranty for $15 with exchange of the old one. 30 days is usually plenty of time to tell if it's going to work alright...

They don't list them on the site, but that doesn't mean they don't carry them.  They don't list hood hinges on the site and I know they have them.  I was just wondering if anyone here knew.
