my brother hit it with his jeep.
it is on haven't had time to take pics, unfurtunatly i don't have a camera i have to use my dad's at his house.

What thickness is the plate?
-
it is 3/8 thick i did th sledgehammer test i couldn't dent it so it was good.
-
3/8 :o :o :o
I would of thought something around 3/16 with either a few ribs or cross brakes in it would have be sufficient ??

I think 3/16 should be enough. That's about 5mm thick if needed you could add a few braces. That would be lighter and lighter is allways better ;)
But, tracker8wr if you find some time post pics of it installed :D

Whew! I was thinking "man, that's really gonna lower his center of gravity, and give him protection from land mines!"

LOL ! I like to "over engineer" things myself but when I seen 3/8" I thought your next question would be "how do I get another 20Hp out this thing to compensate for the weight of my bash plate ?" ;D

I have kids on skateboards that pass me with all the skid plates and bullbar attacted to mine. :P
