Title: Aftermarket Guages
Post by: the_mahout on July 20, 2006, 07:34:55 PM
Anyone ever add an aftermarket oil pressure guage to the stock 1.6l engine?  Any tips?

What aftermarket guages are you all running?  Any pics of your set-ups?

Thanks.

It's a good idea, I lost an engine from that

the type that actually runs a small oil line to the gauge is the most accurate and reliable.

Agreed.  I don't trust the plastic line that usually comes with them, though.  1/8" copper tubing is much more reliable and uses the same fittings.
