Title: 2-low kit question

annyone that has a 2 low kit for a tracker know if you have to split cases to install? i just got done installing gears in it and dont want to butten it back up just to split it again,im thinking im going to have to remove a locater ball that keeps the shifting shafts from moveing out of sequence
