Title: Warm Air Duct - Flex Hose on 88 Sammy
Post by: dczysz on July 26, 2006, 06:46:49 AM
I have an 88 sammy that I use as a daily driver to beat these gas prices.  I have a stock 1.3 under the hood.  I noticed that the warm air duct (flex hose) that runs from the airbox to the side of the motor has about 3 tears in it.  Question: What is the diameter of this hose?

Unless you are in a very cold area,
or trying to pass a smog check, this
hose isn't needed, it's a hot air feed
for cold weather driving, prevents
carb ice and smoother running/warmups
