Always on the forefront of the Suzuki aftermarket, Rocky Road proudly introduces the very first suspension lift available for the unibody Grand Vitara, 2006 and newer. This awesome system allows you to easily bolt-on 2.125" of lift to your vehicle.

Nice... maybe I'll rethink the plans for the GV now.....
-
I like that look and the price is reasonable just add some all terrains wonder if they will fit on the alloy wheels?  :P
-
or stick with the steel 16" rims?
altho RR doesn't have me convinced, what i read is that they used spacers and other rear shocks. Maybe i'm taking it too lightly, but any of us making coil spacers for trackicks could have come up with making some for a GV5. ???
the only thing i'm not really like is this sentence :
The Grand Vitara has pretty much the worst undercarriage clearance of any vehicle in its class... much less anything with 4WD. Even Subaru cars can get you further down a dirt road than a stock Grand Vitara
As i said before, the stock GV has the same ground clearance as the first gen. trackick. ::)

Just got the GV back. Tomorrow I will have it aligned, then tell you what I think. Looks great!!! I look forward to steel bumpers this fall, RRO will be tackling that project as well.
-
Alignment was pretty off after doing the lift. The guys that did the alignment said they had no problems aligning it. Drives very nice, tracks straight. I have been driving my sami every day lately, so getting back in my gv took a little getting use to.

RRO still doesn't have bumpers or skids for my '99. I love the lift and rockrails I've gotten from them, but it's been a year and a half since I bought my Track and these items are still "in development".

Any of you guys looking into lifts for the gv or any other mods? I wouldn't mind adding a little more power to it... any one have any thoughts?

I just got back from Big O tires. I got new shoes for the GV, 245/75/r16 Big O Big Foot AT's. They fit great with no rubbing at full turn also with compression.
Here is what it looks like...

Oh ya i love the look of it! i should be installing mine over the week end if i get the parts in time. I also ordered the super rock sliders. My GV will have a kick ass look and will be ready for the Off Road trails.

My concerns are the follwing:
My friend just picked one of these AWD transfer cased new gens GVs
I do not belive the lift comes with any diff drop nor sway bar drop brackets
How are the CV angles after these spacers? Seeing how these are all fully independant trucklets and w/ the AWD, is that not a concern?
-
RRO spent a fair ammount of time with my vehicle coming up with a simple lift that wouldn't cause any issues. I have wheeled my awd in some challenging areas and have not had any issues or anything to break on me.... at highway speeds I have had no issues with stability.

Here is the Difference in size.
