Title: Wipers on + radio = Static

My 1991 samurai plays static on the radio whenever the wipers are turned on.....does that sound like a disconnected antennae or something worse?  I REALLY dont want to try to get to the wiper motor.....

AM and FM ?

Try a filter on the anteanna.

Make sure the radio is well grounded, and also make sure the body is well grounded to the battery negative terminal...

Bad grounds all around. Check and re-do grounds on Battery to body, Frame to body, Engine to body.
