I saw another post on this upgrade and it got the wheels turnin again. This is something I could use (like the 4 dr brakes) Has anyone used the petroworks kit or are there other kits If anyone has done this or have another way let me know( I need another project) I saw the post on off road .com but that was for the sammi not a sidekick thanks......                                                                                                                            ÂÂ

This, I think, is untried territory.
Slowly but surely, there are more and more products being developed for the TracKick IFS platform.
Perhaps it is time for someone to create an aftermarket alternator bracket for the TracKick...

it's been done but I don't recall specifically where I saw it... a simple bracket that lets you mount a common GM 90-amp alternator

I called Petroworks and they said that there kit would work on the kick> I will be ordering it I will post pics and some info on it when i put it in If it works.

Trail Tough sells a braket for the Trackick that uses a GM alt.
