Title: 4 door GV springs
Post by: bus_driver on August 03, 2006, 11:41:58 PM
in the budget lift the 4 dr track was lifted with GV springs all round .... has anyone done the GV springs on a 2 dr track like my 92.... and if so how much lift was gained??? if I could find a set of rears I would thro them on my guy and use spacers on the front to match the rear and I would be really happy.

are the spring a heavier rate or longer??

the GV springs should lift the 2 door the same amount as the 4 door, but im not 100% sure

iwas thinking the weight between a 2dr soft top and a 4 dr tin would be a bit differnet yeilding a higher lift. and maybe a harsher ride.

I think you are right, I'm pretty sure the 4dr has stiffer rear springs.

does anybody have access too specs of stock springs and would be able to find out the rates between my stock dr and the 4 drs rear springs ????

cuz if it turned out to go like 2 1/4 that would be cool and then do the spacers on front  that would make for a really nice trail machine. and look the shit too
