Post by: Jimiweld on August 12, 2006, 06:17:22 PM
What all will I need to do this in my tracker. I will need the computer, but will I need the wiring harness, rad, hoses etc as well? Or do all of these just plug into the 8 valve?
Thanks
Jim

What you need to do is find a 16V kick in good shape and swap the bulk of your good parts on it.. That will be the easiest way to go.

Really, that much work then eh. I'll probably just replace mine with another 8v when it dies then. It's ok for now, but if a 16v was an easy swap I thought I'd start looking for the bits and pieces now to prepare for it.
Thanks

you have to replace the computer wire harness for the moter it should clip into your truck existing routing  and spliceing points. and moter with all the exesories(m.a.f.air intake ect). go to the action and get a wrecked one. its not that diffacult of swap a few weekends about 10 hours.
