Title: Installed 3" body lift on my '01 Tracker LWB
Post by: lowrezolution on August 13, 2006, 05:37:38 PM
What an adventure this was!!!! LOL   :D
Fabricated my own 3" body lift and did "most" of the install today.
Didn't realize I would have to dismantle so many things to do this...Holy shizit!!
Still have to hook brakes back up, shifter and cosmetics but the hardest part is done.
Here's a picture as it sits (with one of my new 265/75/16 tires leaning against it)
Hope to finish up tomorrow the ride it over to my friends shop to relocate the bumpers.
Crossing my fingers it'll be done tomorrow  :)

Hey Lowerez
That looks great, can't wait to go wheelin with you and see it first hand. How are the tires going to fit, do you anticipate much body rub?

The fenders will need a little "massaging" I'm sure.  I'm going to have to cut both the front and rear wheel well openings and the bumper covers to make sure I have full travel and don't crush the fenders in. More fun  :(

That's looking really good! How tall are those tires when measured on the Tracker, must be 31-32" eh.
