ok, so i put new spark plugs in my tracker. replaced with autolite's(yeah the nascar ones ::) ) because the local autozone didn't have any ngk's on stock but they're the correct replacement plug. so anyway i get home, gap the plugs and put them in. fire up the tracker and it fires right up and sounds good. no problems. now next day i go out to fire up the tracker for the first time that day in the morning(keep in mind i think my temp sensor is already going because when i first start up my tracker<cold start> for the first time after sitting overnight i have to let it sit and warm up a bit before i drive or it won't run right, kinda sputters when i get into 3rd gear if i don't) let it warm up a bit then pull out. kinda extra sluggish this morning, so i go down a fairly steep hill to a stop sign at the bottom of it and when i get to the stop sign my CEL comes on briefly and the tracker stalls out.?.?.? it hasn't stalled out anymore but i did have the CEL flash once again the other day and it's been running a bit extra sluggishly during the cold start phase. after that though it runs like a champ..... any ideas?

I would go ahead and check for a stored fault and go from there. ;D

Plug wires.
you think? hmm.... couldn't hurt to get a new set anyway....

Put some BKR6E's in it. you can get them at any motorcycle shop if the autoparts stores don't have them.. All of the auto parts stores push these 'performance plugs' when in all reality a good NGK is a performance plug for zuks.

Sounds like plug wires to me. When changing plugs I also change wires and cap&rotor.
