if so what size tires and how does it do on the street

It's just about right for 33's. I have a buddy that runs them with 31's and it's way too low.

Yep to low for 31's, real nice for 33's!

if you plan on only running 31's then 4.62's are nice for that...

i had 5.12 and 31" tyres and had calmini 5.14 t case gears
you can never go to low (was still my DD) ;D

I ran 5.12's with 33's for a few years and loved it.  I'm running 5.29's with 36's now (and a GRS II T-case), and it's just about perfect.
