What transmission would be the least complicated to replace?

personaly i think they would be about the same. its just a little messyer to drain the fluid out of the auto, and the tc has to be unbloted from the flywheel. other than the shifter they are pretty much the same i think.    I just changed the auto in mine and it wasnt really that hard.

i think the seals were old and hard. didnt really want to shift for the first couple miles. other than that it was fine, I got a used one from the wrecker for $100 with the transfercase and tc. it was cheaper than rebuilding it. the new one works great. (knock on wood)

i got it from BC auto wrecking, they had three of them when i was there. but now they are just melted piles of goo.. when i was there though, they had 5 trackicks.
