Title: General Grabber AT2 205/75/TR15 Good for Stock Samurai?
Post by: Sammy N Austin on August 31, 2006, 01:41:15 PM
Would General Grabber AT2 205/75/TR15 be a good budget ON/OFF road tire for a STOCK 88.5 Samurai? They are $64 a tire at the Tire Rack.

What other tires in this price range would be good for rocky (but not technical) trails at the deer lease?

I have heard good things about those tires, they are alot like the BFG AT, but alot cheaper, if i was to buy some AT tires, those would be the ones.

i'd check ebay for tires.  i got a set of new M&S 235/75x15 for $348 including shipping.  found out they are made by Cooper Tire Co., with a local brand name on them.  have a few thousand miles on them and they are wearing very well and great in the rain.  they're on my dd tracker.  the logo calls them IRONMAN.  looking forward to see how they are on the trails at the end of Sept. and then in the winter snows we get here.
