i filled it twice today to see what it woudl be at diff levels. first time i fill it i got 7.7 L/100 km not sure what that is in MPG, but the i drove only 100 km and filled it and got 8.7L/ 100 km, this is alot better the the 4 i was getting, but does it change so much from the different driving style? i don't think its cuz of that because i'm always on the highway doing about 110. theres no city driving on either tank? why the change?

the change could be about anything, uphill - downhill, wind direction, meybe reved it upa bit different.
anyway both 7.7 and 8.7 are good for a trackick. Wish i saw those numbers.

i dont have clue what would make the difference, but 7.7-8.7 L/100 km is pretty good, probably the best your sidekick will ever get. that works out to about 27-30 mpg. mine gets the same mileage, and its an auto to.

The difference you're seeing could be in just how my much gas you're putting in. What I mean is if the gas station parking lot was on a bit of an angle it might allow that extra litre to squeeze in or you may have filled up the filler neck part way the second time. It would be pretty hard to get the exact same amount in everytime. It's better to average it out over several fill ups.

I was getting 525/540 km per 60 lt fill up, NOW with the 32's my first tank was only 440 km. Still not too bad for a 2.0lt with 277k on it, the best tank brand new was 628km,many,many km's ago!!! :)
Lots of off the overdrive to keep rpm up hills and stuff. The price you pay for going big I guess.
