Title: 15 to 20% more power

Currently I have a 1.6 EFI 1993 LWB Vitara/sidekick. Already has extractors. What is a good way to get another 15% to 20% more power and looking at a budget of $2000AUD or $1500USD

Any suggestions

It depends on how much you want/can do yourself and what you are trying to achieve. If you know what you are doing you could setup a turbo or blower or you could look at a big bore conversion etc. One fairly simple way would be to get your cam reground from somebody like Tighe Cams, fit an adjustable cam gear and something like a Haltech inteceptor and get it dialled in on a dyno. I think you'd be pretty happy with the results.
