Title: swift engine?

can i put a swift engine in my samurai........if i can what do i have to do???

Yes, depends on which engine your talking about on what you have to do. For the DOHC you will need the ECM, wiring harness, and a custom header or you can modify a motor mount to make the stock exhaust manifold fit. The dist will also be facing the wrong way so you will need to cut a whole in the firewall, buy an adapter for lots of bucks, or modify your dist and rotor to take a mazda 323 cap and rotor. Also probably a few other odds and ends too.

It bolts to the samurai tranny, not sure how much the swap cost because it was already done on mine before I bought it. I think it would mainly just depend on how much you could get the engine for.
