Title: The "flea" gets new shoes and a small Digger lift
Post by: Quaddawg on September 11, 2006, 12:05:22 PM
OK, yeah, I am keeping it a daily driver, but I couldn't stand the wimpy stockers..

Also added a 1.5" Digger spacer lift, and Crown Vic shocks, see one photo here, and some more at end of topic

SO, keeping low price and street use in mind, I decided on a cheaper set of AR Outlaws in 15x7, and some lower priced AT's  in 235/75R15

It looks good to me, and I don't have that much tied up in it.. really helped the look.

Handles better, and the Speedo is only 2 mph slow at 55.. SO, it keeps the RPM's down a little.. I will see how MPG is affected and report back.

I have a small (1 1/2") Digger spacer lift to put on this week.. but they fit real snug for now..

It's northwest of Knoxville TN.  they have 72,000 acres.. tons of great trails.  The Turtle eats it up, I might take the Flea this year though.. not sure..

I got the front spacers in, looks REAL good with the little 235's

I am going to have to do the rear tomorrow.

We can put a man on the moon, and create superconductors..............

WHY CAN'T SOMEONE DESIGN A SHOCK THAT DOESN'T SIEZE UP AND REQUIRE CUTTING OFF..

I swear, I have replaced tens of dozens of pairs of shocks, and I can't remember a single one that just unbolted like it was supposed to..  (except ones I had installed, with nev-r-sieze....)

just curious, could you measure something for me??  From the ground to he rocker panels and from the ground to the top of the wheel well?  I want to compare my Boondox 2" springs to a 1.5" lift from coil spacers..
