Title: Front Locker
Post by: blacktrack99 on September 17, 2006, 07:57:37 PM
Wanted to know if anyone's running a front locker in their Gen. 2.  If so, whose are you running?  Steering issues? Manual locking hubs, etc.?  Planning on limited slip in rear (it's a second car (on road drivability)).  Lower gears in the middle.  Of course, I'll post as everything [slowly] progresses.  8)

As far as I know, the only way you can do a locker in the front is by swapping 3rd members with an older Sidekick.  Hence, you won't find many ppl with lockers in the front.  There are a couple that I've seen on here or other posts, but that's about it.  I'm hoping to do the conversion within a couple of years, but front and rear conversion with ARB lockers will probably cost $2000-$3000.

Yeah same question here. My front diff is toast its leaking and suzuki wants 800cdn just for the differental part.

I know jdmcrx will be taking his apart and doing some measuring cause his was leaking pretty bad on one wheeling trip
