Now tow of my friends have Samurais. Both of them get stuck in nuetral after four wheeling. Put it in nuetral, unlock the hubs, and go to shift it back into 2wd and the stick get;s stuck and you have to take the boot off and work the shifting rids with a small pry bar to get it back into 2wd or any other gear for that matter. Happens on both so I fifure this has to be a common problem. Tries shifting it other ways too, but always the same outcome. Have to bring tools just to put it in and out of 4wd. What gives? And how do I fix it for them?

The tcase 'sheet' is the bushing your transfer case shifter rests on. It can also be one major pain in the rear when it goes bad. Your transfer case will seize up and lock into neutral. You may or may not make it home from the trail after that. Our new high-density polyurethane sheet not only replaces the factory jobber, it will also last for longer than you own your vehicle... guaranteed! Don't just get another factory bushing from the other guys, pick up our lifetime bushing and never have to worry about this problem again.

It is a cheap fix, I would just do the whole shifter overhaul. This will also fix the sloppy shifter... In the transmission there is a bolt that can break along with the bushing that just breaks down and makes it treicky to shift...

For a sloppy trans I would go with the Hawk Suzuki sloppy shifter fix. It's cheap enough to make it worthwhile to just swap the parts rather then try to fix the stock kit.
