Title: A/C pump used as compresser
Post by: CJ11 on September 21, 2006, 03:20:04 PM
Has any one ever done this on a kick and if so how do I. It would be great to fill up tires and just to have an on board air source.

We've done it on our Samurai, but not the Kick.  I don't know what would be different.  Here's a link to an article in ACK's FAQ on the Samurai conversion.  Thanks as always to ACK!

A friend I sold a Sammy to just did that conversion, I think he used the instructions from Ack's faq.  He did put a pickup oiler at the end of the air intake to make sure it stayed lubed up, but he ended up with a really nice kit.

Kind of makes me want to get a similar setup on mine instead of the little electric...
