My God, Calmini is slow. It took 5 weeks for this to get here!

I started ripping it apart last night, and already I'm having problems! I broke one rear control arm bolt, and 2 others are stuck in the bushings...I'm gonna have to cut them out.
That's all for now, I'll report more later.

Do they come in other colours?
(the smurf blue looks good, fresh new parts always do)
-
nope only in blue
-
This is typical for Calmini. I've waited MONTHS for some of their stuff.
-
I just cancelled my body lift order with them ordered it 3 weeks ago and was assured it would be shipped that week....after 5-6 calls I have given up.
MaskterKit1 now has my order for a 3" Body Lift.
-
Just be patient -- I ordered their 4140 axles from them and had the axles in less than 2 weeks. They have a good product and it is worth the wait.
-
i ordered my 3" suspension lift and complete exhaust system from them at the same time, and got both 11 days later.
-
I generally get my orders within 2-3 weeks. And I live in New Zealand :o
The product is worth the wait for sure.
Not to mention some vendors not even coming to the party full stop ???

Got a little done on the Trac today...Day'um it's big! I had a TJ with 6" of lift on 35's in my garage which fit fine, and the tracker may not come out without airing down. :P
It should settle with a bit of driving and the new bumpers. (I hope) :P

she sure looks tippy from behind
Sweet rig too with the matching calmini colors
-
Ya, after looking at the pics, I may pick up some spidertrax 1" wheel spacers.
-
its really starting to look good
-
does look tippy, how much body lift? hard to see it.
what size is the rubber?
hows the angle on the cv's with the spacers ad sprigs?
-
Calmini 6" combo + 1" spacers. The front isn't done yet, so I can't tell you about CV angles. I'm sure it''ll come down an inch or two with the new bumpers.
Tires are 32x11.50R15 SSR's (they measure the same height as my buddy's 33" LTB's).
Rims are 15x8 w/ 3 3/4 BS
-
very nice!wish mine was that clean looking ;D
-
mmm lifted :)
Looks Awesome...
on another note I order my 3" lift from masterkit1...shipped in 2 days
-
wow! wish my garage was that clean looking !!! ;D
-
Did ya get the front done yet?
Love that Blue.
Same hardtop as mine.
whats the brandname?
Wait for it to settle.
it takes a while.

Thanks for the compliments guys...
I got the one side mostly finished. It's kinda slow going by myself. It should be done by thursday night. Friday I will be spraying the rockers if all go well.

Bought these little puppies today to finish it off...expensive little buggers. :o

Rollin' on 7" now. Now I need some nice heavy bumpers to bring it back down so I can get into it! Rocker will be lined by Satarday.

What are the "tabs" sticking out the side of your hardtop/targa? I have the same top, but I don't have those. I hope I'm not missing anything important....
The truck looks good, nice wheels ;)

you gotta come over the line to BC and come wheelin with me

How do you guys get away with so much lift????
We are only allowed 2" suspension lift with a 1" body lift and 50mm max larger tyres.
Not to mention trying to get insurance. (http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d136/suzukiboyoz/kicknuts.gif)
-
Here in Canada I believe the max body lift is 3", suspension is unlimited but bumper height becomes an issue at some point (i think?-lol) and as for tires as long as it's stamped as DOT on the side wall 44" or 47" is okay? If I'm wrong there guys chip in and correct me.
As for insurance (ie legislated robbery ;) ) well, hhmm, I did all the mods after the insurance inspection sssooooo what they don't know won't hurt them I guess, unless my ins. agent stops beside me at the lights!!!  ;D
