Title: Engine Hesitation?
Post by: Stinger on September 27, 2006, 12:35:53 PM
My engine is having a lot of hesitation problems at lower rpms. I reset the valves to spec and have 120 lbs compression on all cylinders. I changed out the fuel filter and have sprayed lots of carb cleaner in the carb. Still nothing helps. Where should I look from here? I was told possible accelerator pump, is there any way to check it? Any info and advise would be appreciated. Thanks  The truck is a 88 samurai with the 1.3l

ya the tube helped mine alot but his sounds more like the accel, pump.  I think suzuki Johns in las vegas sells just the pumps. you could look down the inside of the carb and see if it is working.
