95K miles
4 speed Auto

Cruise, PW, PL, loaded!!
Pretty darned nice... A few dings, no dents.
New tires (although those won't last.. lol)
New Exhaust, New brakes..
This is going to be my daily driver/Adventure vehicle.
I paid $1800 for it... just because they are getting a little hard to find.. and this one was loaded up.

wow, another nice find. those things are still expensive around here. good luck with trying to keep that one a daily driver ;D
-
i thought The Flea was gonna be a daily driver/adventure vehicle...
Oh, well, Ill guess ill be a good patron and take that 4 door off your hands then. WHere do you live Ill come take it off you're hands ;D ;D
-
LOL, I know, well, I have experienced 4 door hartop quiet and comfort....... I don't think I will go back to a convertible for daily driving again.
The black one is going to be leased to a friend, unless they don't want it. If they don't want it, it will be for sale very soon.
-
great price with all those options
first thing to do is to swap the
fleas tires/rims with your new pillbug
-
I found a white 1998 4d auto perfect condition $3,200.00 70,000 miles , hope it don't sell till I get there.
-
no picnic table shot lol!!!!

Congrats on the new addition! Looks like you're just trying to get the full set! I have the same addiction. Find myself checking the ads all the time, when I have absolutely no need for another one. Running out of places to park em too. Luckily, I'm usually able to resist the temptation by not having any money to buy with!!
-
Congrats!
Except for the year (mine is a '93), it looks like my truck's twin! Right down to the spare tire cover!
Although it was fun driving mine in the Badlands Dunes and to a lesser degree on the Blue Trail (I may need to replace the rear wheel bearings), I'm keeping mine as a daily driver for now... It's nice to have something "cushy" to drive!
-
nice find, i really like my 4 door sport for a dd. having all the power options is nice. mine will get a smalllift and maybe some 30's. just for getting to some decent camping spots.
-
Yep, going for the full set. I need to off one of the soft tops, and get a 2 door hard top.. THEN I will be setting my sights on a X90 with LEATHER... lol..
-
Well, I guess between me and my freind, we have a very full set: I have 2 first gen Trackers 2 door soft tops, a 2nd gen Tracker soft top and a first gen sidekick 4 door, as wel as a 98 X-90 (with LEATHER ;)) and he has an older carb sammy, 2 newer FI sammys and an LJ20...
-
What do you mean the Flea will be no more?
Send it my way, I want my girlfriend to get a Tracker. She said if she gets a black one, she will put a white racing stripe on it.
-
Well Crap!!!
I am just too nice. My neighbor just fell in LOVE with the four door.... so I gave it to her..
I am back looking for a Four door with AC...
CRAP..
What I REALLY want is a 2 door hardtop. I would trade the Flea for one..
-
Hmmm... since I have made spacers for you, I have your address... if I move in next door, will you give ME zuki's? LOL!
-
if you want a 2 door hardtop why not just buy a convertible hardtop? i know their not cheap, but you just spent $1800 on a sidekick for your neighbor :o
-
Not the same.
Besides, when I say GIVE..... I mean sell without making any profit....
I gave it to her for what I paid for it.... lol..
-
quick tracker_camps!
tell him that your gf LOVES the flea... he'll hook you up!!!
;)
awww man... at that price with those options you just had to give it to her
why not the flea?
personally I want to get more and more too
but its the diesel that is holding me back
I WISH WE HAD THE DIESEL OPTION IN THE US! :'(
-
You ain't kidding, I would LOVE to have a diesel Kick!!
I miss the Sidekick already, but she said she may sell it back to me when she gets back on her feet.. I am not holding my breath.

they rock man, i have the 90 2dr and the 98 4 door sport. there are a bunch of 2dr tintops around here. i have two buddy's with them for parts in there yards.
i am not to fond of them, now a tintop sammy is a diferent story ;D
i really don't like the x90's, not sure what it is oyu guys like about them.
hope ya find what your looking for. you can always come up to victoria and grab a tintop kick body.

LOL... who cares...
It stomps Acura powered Hondas.... lol...
-
hehe... true enough
(its always a toss up between hp and mpg isnt it... the force is tempting)
-
I will let you know what it gets, but it's a toy. I will SCCA Autocross it probably, and I might bracket race it too, that would be funny. I can enter it in several classes, due to it being a Ford, and a Kia, and a Mazda.
I am going to weigh it, it is pretty stripped, I bet it doesn't weigh squat. The guy that built it races SCCA SOLO II and does fairly well with it. He says he still has trouble with rotary RX7's but has fun with the Hondas all the time. Time will tell. I can always turbo it, Nitrous, hotter cam, mess with compression... you know... stuff...lol..
I may reinstall more stock looking seats though, as I am really thinking "sleeper" ;D
-
yeah... as if the thing isnt already a sleeper
maybe switch a seat from your kick or something
tracker seats! :o
-
I just got the Festy home.
WOW... it's pretty damned quick. Not blistering, but it pulls damned well.
The best thing is that it stops even quicker, and turns flat at high speed. Handles like a go cart.
It's hard to get out of it.
The exhaust is a little buzzy for my taste, I might experiment with a different muffler. It does sound pretty cool under full throttle.
It drives just fine on the street, as a daily driver, it will be fine. The short shifter is really nice, shifts are only an inch, inch and a half from neutral.. really quick and positive.
I wish I could put a 16v Kick motor in it.... I think it would kick ass..... but the Mazda motor bolts right up, it is such a simple swap. I looked into sticking a B6T turbo motor in it, but with fuel lines, pump, injection CPU and such, it's a job. A job for the future that is... cause good power in such a light car (I weighed it today, 1670 with a full tank and the passenger seat) I could get it under 1600 pounds by running a fuel cell and no passenger seat, and 2-3 gallons of gas.
FUN...

HUMMMMM...
4DR Sidekick... Seems to me I saw one on a used car lot on Rt 4 on the south side of Middletown, but that was a week or so ago. I don't know if it would still be there...
