Anybody know of any aftermarket from sway bars for the grand vitara. I have performed the 2.7 xl7 swap and converted to rear wheel drive only with manual transmission. I am running B+G 4 inch sport springs, Koni adjustable struts and shocks and energy suspension sway bar and tie rod bushings. That last and final thing i need is an aftermarket stronger sway bar. If anybody know please post me. Thanks Nick

Depending on how much more roll stiffness you need you can get another stock swaybar and add it to the one already fitted. Use eight swaybar mounts and bushes and cut down the ends of the bar to clear your suspension.

Is it true that the xl7 sway bar is stronger than the grand vitara? I also heard that the Currie ANTIROCK sway bar for jeeps will fit because they are adjustable. What do you think?

Climb under an XL-7 and measure the swaybar dia.

Well, the xl-7 swaybar is substantially thicker (ie stiffer) than the one on a 2-dr 4cyl. Swaps no problem. I'll try to get a caliper on mine and see what the measurement is. I still have the lighter one in storage, so I might be able to get both measurements, if I remember.

Did you keep your old rear axle, or did you swap in the one from the xl7?
