Title: where are the vin #'s
Post by: DRAGGINZUZU on October 05, 2006, 02:15:31 PM
where are the vin numbers found on a 91 samurai I changed out the dash from a junk donor and the old dash got thrown out. Is there a number plate somewhere on the body?

On my SJ it was on the drivers side, just in front of the door underneath the dash.

of course, now it's in my glovebox.  Someone had painted over the top of it, I saw a piece of metal sitting down there and pulled it off to see what it was...  Oops.  :P

On the samuai, 3 places, the right front frame in front of tire, the end of the dash drivers side, and the left kick panel by the drivers feet.
