Okay, it's more of a 1.5-2 second long snort than a fart (just wanted to make sure to get some readers..), but I can feel the vibration throught the steering wheel.
After an engine start, and no matter how long I let it just sit there and idle, when I roll forward about 20 feet, there it goes. Every Time. Straight, turning, accelerating, rolling downhill in neutral. Just a burrrrrrrrp, with vibration, then it's done. Haven't noticed it in reverse, either, but I can't say so with certainty right at this moment.
At first I thought it was a problem with the power steering pump, since that's what it feels most like, but I've ruled that out. Also changed up my diet, so I'm pretty sure it's not my ass.. Now I'm thinking it may be something to do with the ABS. ??
Anybody?

Totally normal, or does it need a little TLC, or did I foul something up when transferring it into my truck? I didn't notice it when I first finished the swap.

Yep normal. I was worried about it too. Never noticed it when it was new then it showed up after 4 months. ONLY ONCE did it not do it, the ABS light came on. I called the 800# on the window, they said to shut the truck off and restart it. That fixed it and it hasn't happend again. Just didn't read from one of the sensors. I THINK it was because there was ice on my driveway and when I backed out I locked up the one front wheel and that caused it to throw off the code.

Okay. Thanks. Bizarre that they didn't engineer the noise out of there, or something. Never driven another car that did it so obviously. Never gives me the dummy light, though, and the ABS does work (been getting some sweet ice storms in STL this winter...including tonight...).
