Can some one please tell me how many body mounts is there on a suzzi vitara and with doing a body lift what is the most recomended size of blocks to use?

What year and how many doors?
On my 97 4dr there is 8 bolted body mounts and 4 just for support.
3x3 3/16 steel tubes

this is the way I did mine and quite pleased with it.

It's a 2 door Vitara and i am sure it is a 1989 model.

Did you make your own block's? They are just not one that i have seen before. The blocks we put in my fella's GU Patrol are 3inch cilender solid blocks and yours are opened. Silly question that would be because one the Patrols weigh a mear 2 ton and the suzzies a little under a ton if stock. I do not know much about these little 4WD's but that is why i am on here.

Open blocks are commonly used on Vits, they need to be a good wall thickness. Solid blocks can be used but the Vit has studs on the body so a sleeve nut or threaded block is needed. Three inch blocks are usual with open blocks, solid blocks are 2 or 3 inches. 3" lift requires modifications to gear and tcase levers. Have a look at the Calmini and Rocky Road websites they have pics of theirs.
