I have a 2 door tracker with oversized tires.It is my daily driver.How do you know what tire presure to inflate them to.

It really depends on the tire and size you are running. I run a 33x12.50 Goodyear MTR and rune 18 rear/20front on road and 8 rear/10 front off road. If you are running a softer ply tire, like a highway radial, you will need to run more pressure.

I run Geolander AT's 245/75/16 with 10 ply sidewalls 28psi front and 32psi rear but that's on an XL-7. Any lower and they feel funny around the turns.

i have 31x10.5R15 Dick Cepek FC-II, 28psi in all 4. it does ok for daily driving, but would do better on trails at lower pressure.

You certainly NEVER need more than the factory spec of 23 PSI for a 2 door Kick.
Generally, you would want a little less, I am guessing 20-21 would be a good street pressure.
Kicks ride SO much better with the recommended pressure in them. (or less for a larger tire!)

i run my 33x12.5 bfg mt's at 22psi on the street and around 7 or 8psi for the trail
i used to run mt bfg krawlers at 5 psi for the trails and ran them like that on the hihway one time from one trail to the other. wasn't to bad at all.

When I had 30-9.5 I ran 16-18psi on the street, any more than that and it was hard hitting bumps and potholes on the road.
My Current 235-75 are at 22psi
I think it's just something you need to experiment with for yourself.

i run 30x9.5 goodyear MT/R's at 20 psi on the street, and it feels about the same as the 35psi that the tire shop put in.
i might even take a couple more psi out and see how that goes.
anything around there with those site tires would be good for daily driving.

if i know i won't be going over 60mph i run 15psi in a 235/75/15 :P
20 psi is good for highway trips
8-9 psi offroad

Takes a little patience to get it right. Start by airing them to the factory specs for the vehicle, draw a line across the tread from one side to the other on all 4 tires. A chalk line works best. drive a few miles as u normally would. check the lines. Should have worn the chalk off all the way across the tread. If not, air down a couple of PSI then repeat till you have them dialed in. You don't want them too low however or they will bulge when going down the highway and wear the centers out.
