I spoke to Mark at ARB USA. Mark beleives that they will put stuff into production down the road for this vehicle. He asked me to contact him back early December.

I really want to see Suzuki Sport offer all their parts over here. I kinda want the spare tire elimination kit, and the sport springs and bigger sway bars.
-
That spare tire eliminator is sweet!!!

There has to be a demand and so far there are not enough 3rd generation GV's on the road to really make it profitable, Heck, you can't even get an aftermarket air filter here in Phoenix.
-
A few companies I spoke to wanted to wait and see what the sales would be like... I think they were pretty good in the U S ... We will see how the 07's sell... Arb seemed to want to get some stuff going, they said they have been backed up trying to stay current with all makes and models...

Am new to this forum but am a Suzuki entusiast and am interested in purchasing a 2000 V6 4 door 4 x 4 vitara. It is a five speed. Is there any advantages to owning a five speed over an automatic?
-
All I can say is I love manuals!!! Benifits would be based on use and driver pref.
The 2000 GV guys are in another Thread on this forum.
You can find them here...

i know most of you guys are wanting stuff for strictly for offroading... but i'm taking a slightly different path.... i'd like to see JLAudio, MTX, or Qlogic make a custom subwoofer box for these bad boys... I'll admit, i haven't even seen one of the new GV's up close and personal, so i don't know exactly what space is available for a hidden sub enclosure... but in january, its my goal to have one in my driveway... so maybe i should wait until then to decide what the aftermarket needs to do... i've got a 96 tracker that i can use for offroad... but i want a nice, classy suv for the roads and stuff... here's my idea of a perfect 07 GV... the OME 2" lift, slightly bigger AT's (whatever would fit in the wheelwells without rubbing, or looking "too big"), the afore mentioned hidden sub (it could even be preamplified)... and an iPod interface, where i can hide the iPod and control it using the stock radio (i don't know if that's an option from the factory, but i'd still like it)... um.... that pretty much sums it up... just something that makes it look slightly more agressive than stock, but something that makes people believe that it did come from the factory like that... oh yeah, i would also consider some sort of bullbar from westin or something... just a little bit of flashy chrome... yaaaamean?

Kind of went way off topic here, no? ::)

Twan, I agree... mostly. My GV see's about 98% on the road time, and the only offroading that it does see is the grass in my yard when it's time to give it a bath. Thus I think I'd rather further enhance the road hugging capabilities that are natural to the GV. I'd love the rear spare elimination and the sport springs, as well as beefier sway bars and shocks. (as mentioned above)
I already have the iPod interface installed in the GV, and am looking soon into getting new speakers, amp and a sub added.

H&R is making springs for the GV... w00t! tax return... hehe... >:D
