got my new tires mounted this week and I'm really happy how it turned out...
Kumho Road Venture KL-78 AT's in 235-70-16
the lift is Digger 1" spacers with Boondox strut extenders and SPC camber bolts, stock shocks for now.
no rubbing (the back of the front tires come close to the frame but don't touch), and I didn't have to trim anything.
these tires are surprisingly quiet! and they ride really nice on the road at 30 psi. acceleration is not as affected as I thought it would be

one more, and a closeup of the tires & wheel well clearance

i think it turned out nice!
what's the stock tyre size? 235/60-16?
-
yup
so these are about 29" tall, vs. 27" stock
and thanks to all Zukiworld members who helped me out with advice!

Looking good..

looks good ;D, U just need a snorkel now!! ;D
-
That thing looks great! I just ordered my boondox 1.5" lift and was thinking i am goin to run the 235-70-16 also, but I plan on running the BFG All Terrain!
-
Looks sweet! I'm running 225/70-16's on stock suspension, nearly 29"...
BTW: Yoko Geo's... Suck after 30k miles... I'm slipping on everything now.
-
ANyone running 225-75-16's?
-
We will be on Saturday. Got a set of Kumho MT's sitting in the garage. Ebay is great/evil! ;D >:D
I'd expect it will rub similar to what others have said and how our GV rubbed with 225/75R16's and the stock suspension. Just a bit on turning with compression and in the rear if you really weigh it down or hit a hard bump.
Now for that lift...

These will work with a 1.5" spacer lift want they?
-
They should. They fit decent with a 2" lift on our GV and I'm planning on a slightly lower lift for the XL7.
