i want to get a tracker but the problem is i want to put 31" tires on it, to make them fit right and look good i'd like to get a 4" suspension lift. i don't have a welder but would be open to any suggestions some one please help me out you guys are awesome.

I don't believe you do a suspension lift without increasing the wear of, and, therefore, the failure rate of cv joints. It is just part of the price of the improved offroad performance.
-
You'd need to drop the diff for sure. you can buy bolt on brackets.
Some on this site have installed the calmini 3" suspension kit and added an extra 1" of lift with coil spacers. Look at this thread - http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/index.php?topic=14335.0
Another option is a 2" suspension lift and 2" body lift.
-
i only have the calmini 3" suspension lift with 31" tires, they fit fine for daily driving and the mud bog, but i cant go rockcrawling without cutting the fenders and/or adding 1" coil spacers. so far i havent had any problems.
-
how does that 3" calmini lift ride, i've been reading and heard it rides like a tank. do you know any one who runs the calmini 3" lift with 1" old man emu coil spacers. i think that may be the answer ( would having the coil spacers hurt my off road ability).
I really appriciate all the comments and hope i can help someone out to with what i do i the future, thanks again.

the calmini kit rides kinda rough, and 1" coil spacers should not hurt it (at least i hope not.) however, the calmini 2" suspension system rides a lot smoother, but i dont know how well it would work with 2" spacers.
or check out http://www.zukiworld.com/month_090105/feature_rockyroad_rocksteadylift.htm for a 4.5" lift (combination of suspension and body lifts)
personally, i am very happy with my calmini 3" suspension lift, even though it rides a little rough.
also, what will you be using this tracker for? auto or manual tranny?
-
thats the issue i haven't got the tracker yet and i am wondering if it is worth while to get it, the one i would get is a stick though and it would be my wheelin daily driver, i may have to settle for the 4.5 rocksteady or i heard you could lower the front differential and put cherokee springs for a four inche suspension lift is this true.

Get the Tracker, you won't be dissapointed.
I run a 2" BDS lift, with an extra 1" spacer, with no real problems.
I have 31x11.50's.... SLIGHT trimming in front, and fairly heavy trimming in the rear..
Check out my picture links and the OD green Tracker..

do those spacers hurt your flex, and did you have to extend anything for your body lift, it looks sweet.
-
2inch body lift with 2 inch coil spring spacers and a very little trimming.
-
i have a 92 tacker . when i put a 3in bl on i ran 31x10.5 with no trimming at all. on 7in rims no special backspacing on rims or anything. i now have added 2in spring spacers so i think i could run 33 or maybe 34 with a little trimming if any at all.

NICE!!! how much flex do you get and do the 31's look ok with the 5 in. lift, did you have to do anything special to install those big spacers?

I have a BDS Spring lift.... no body lift, that would be my LAST resort.. I hate body lifts, but sometimes they are a necessary evil.
my small spacers don't seem to affect the flex

Here's a friends 89 tintop with 5.5" lift and 31-10.5's on 15x8's

thats about what mine looks likes as far as clearance between the tires. no nothing special i did the strut mount flip and added longer shocks in the back,i think i do need to extend my front struts a little more gonna use the chevy header cplers i think.steers fine stops ok and power isnt bad until your going uphill gotta use 4th but hey its got 200,000 miles plus on my 92.
