I have a you guessed it 95 tracker and i am running 31s right now with a 2in bl and no rubbing i would like to run at least a 32 but would prefer to run 33s i will be doing good to afford the tires so money is definatly a problem. My question is how much lift will i need to run a 33. i dont mind a little fender cutting or beating, but this is a dd.
another question i have a lot of play in the steering wheel and it follows the road a lot i still need to get a steering stablizer but that wont fix my problem completely it will just cover it up. Does anybody know a gearbox that i can fit with minor modifications to the tracker i do have powersteering. sorry for all the questions but i am a diehard track/kick fan but i dont have all that much knowledge of them yet.

im running 31x10.5 on a 3" lift, so it seems like a 33 would take about a 5-6" lift, depending on the width of the tire and the backspacing, but maybe they could fit with 4" lift and trimming?

with the calmini 6" combo you can run 32's no problems and probably 33's with some body trimming. you will find that running 33's will really slow the truck down in daily driving. i would stick to the 31's if you want to keep it as a daily driver. my truck wanders quite a bit also and my front end is good. it is just the wide tires and narrow track of the truck that cause it to pull from the crown in the road. mine is fine on new roads.

If you have power steering you can run a toy gear box Rocky Road makes a kit or Lighting Suzuki has a gear box for $200.00 or go to the bone yard or ebay for the info you find out on the rocky road web sight. Hopefully this will help you.

You shouldn't need a steering stabiliser. IIRC the steering box has an adjuster on it, it might need a tweak. 33s won't fit easily, its not just a height issue. I have 33 x 9.5s on 7J rims with 95mm bs. With a 2" suspension lift and a 3" bodylift I had to trim the fenders and also move back the corners of the footwells to gain enough clearance.

i used to run 32's on my 4door with 4" suspension and 2" body lifts. still needed to trim the front foot wells abck.
now run 37's with toyota axles.
