Title: 1.3 GTI head on 1.6 carbi block

Hi All,

Does anyone know if

Is it possible to put 1.3 GTI head on 1.6 carbi block and are they any benefits….

It will fit on there but might need the 16V 1.6 pistons to get the valve cutouts and CR correct. The general concensus of opinion is that the SOHC 1.6 16V head is better, almost the same power but at lower rpm and with more torque.
