didn't realize until now that you can subscribe to the forum via RSS using the url below:
http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/index.php?type=rss;action=.xml
and if you want the RSS feed for a specific forum on the site, for example the Grand Vitara 99-05 then you would use a url like the following:
http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/index.php?board=10.0&type=rss;action=.xml

Real simple syndicate - basicly it pulls the headlines from a site and puts them in one spot like a google homepage.

it is a way to get headlines / postings etc without actually going to the site. There are lots of RSS clients (desktop applications) that make use of RSS so for example you can have a little icon in your system tray that pops up and shows you the first few lines of new posts on the forum. Firefox supports "Live Bookmarks" which is basically the ability to drag an RSS url onto the bookmark toolbar and get automatic updates of the latest postings.
bottom line... it's a great way to find out if there are new posts worth reading at work without having to constantly browse the site.
I don't run Windows but here is a list of the supposedly top ten free RSS readers you can download: http://email.about.com/cs/rssfeedreaders/tp/windows_free.htm
