Hello everyone.
I've just seen something who make me green of envy >:D
A guy was plowing driveways using a Sidekick equipped with a snow plow larger than the truck. And it was working great, perfect traction even in deep snow.
Looking at his system, I realized than he does'nt have any lift on. His tires have the same diameter than mine. Those would be perfect for me since I live in a place where there's A LOT of snow to drive in.
Does anyone know what kind of tires are these? How much they cost? I WANT THEM FOR CHRISTMAS!!!

Pictures would be a BIG help

Sorry, I don't have any picture, I saw that thing just once.
No idea of who that was.

uh, I am kind of at a loss as to how we could begin to guess what sort of tires a vehicle we have never seen has on it??
Snow tires maybe? There are probably hundreds of brands/sizes/models of snow tires a 15 wheel can take.

how about a description of the tred pattern? or could it not be seen.

Actually, I already have good snow tires on my 'kick. But there's no way I can plow with those, even if they are brand new.
My question was: Does anyone know if there's a kind of tire made "especially" for snow plowing who have the same diameter than original tires on the Sidekick?
Is there a company specialized in that kind of product? I already ask a regular tire shop but they can only recommand regular snow tires with larger diameter who cannot be adapted on my Sidekick unless it's lifted.

I don't thing there's a specific tire designed for plowing. The key to plowing with these little rigs(and, most 4x4's) is the weight of the plow gear. An electric/hydraulic 6.5' plow can weigh up to 500lbs. The little electric snowbear plows are only about 250lbs.
