Title: need help blowing fuse
Post by: westvilleguy on November 11, 2006, 01:57:19 PM
my 91 tracker recently started blowing fuses not sure what its for its the last fuse on the second row in a 91 tracker and its a 15 amp fuse i'm thinking it may be for the fuel pump as i cant here it kick in. as soon as i turn the key the fuse blows so i must have a bare wire or something but would be a start to know what the fuse is for or if someone might have a diagram of the fuses that would be great so i can go from there on finding the problem checked all the  wires i could see and they all seem in tack

I think thats the Ign fuse. Unplug the O2 sensor and see if the problem stops. Ive seen the O2 heater fail and short out popping the Ign fuse.

I have the fuse box panel which has the fuses on it in my 92, would it be the same? If so, I'll take a look at what its labeled.
